The Life Cycle of a Tamag
Tamags come in all shapes in sizes, but their evolutionary stages remain the same for all Tamags. From Egg to Elder, your Tamag is sure to keep you engaged.
Egg
Each Tamag will start its life as an egg. After 24 hours, the eggs is hatchable. At this time, you will meet your brand-new Baby Tamag
Baby
Baby Tamags are sent to school to earn TMC rewards. In order to upgrade your tamags to the next phase, you will need to send them to the nursery. The nursery process requires one week lock to upgrade your tamag into a teen. Nursery cost TBD
Teen
The teen Tamag will need to go to work in the Stake Restaraunt. At work, they will earn TMC rewards as they did in the school, but at this stage, you will need to feed them in order to evolve. Food is a purchased item in the game, and costs real TMC. You must keep your Tamag fed or it will remain a Teen indefinitely. After it has consumed enough food, it will be ready to start its evolution into the next stage. Food cost TBD.
Adult
Adult Tamags make a living in the battle arena. They will be forced to fight against other Tamags for in game rewards, including gear, special items, equipment, potions, and also TMC/TME rewards. After a Tamag has proven itself in battle, it will be ready to move on to the final stage of its life cycle
Elder
The elder Tamag is the most respected and honored class of a Tamag. They have proven themselves worthy in the Battle arena and are celebrated within Nifty-Town. Elder Tamags have one last task… to prove themselves the ultimate warrior. Elder Tamags are entered into high-risk deathmatches. These deathmatches will have significantly higher rewards during battles, but if you die in battle, your Tamag will die forever.
The Afterlife
After your Tamag has died in battle, they will become a GHOST Tamag. A Ghost Tamag can be resurrected using a revive potion, and once resurrected, will begin a new life as a brand new Baby Tamag.
Immortalization
Upon death, the fallen Tamag will be forever immortalized with their very own NFT trading card. Each trading card will show the Tamag in all its glory, and will also show off its battle records, and power levels. These cards may eventually be used in the future NiFTygotchi Digital Trading Card Game. (TBD) This is the only way the Trading Cards will ever be created. While all Tamags receive NFT cards, the Alpha tamags NFTs will be increasingly rare.
Resurrection and reincarnation
Once an elder Tamag has died in battle, you can revive its ghost as a new baby Tamag using a resurrection potion. Revive potions cost TME and TMC to use, and has a 1 week hatching process.
Your new level 2 Baby Tamag
Your new Tamag will be randomly created as the original was, however, it will now have a permanent +2 buff to its stats. Each subsequent level up process (through death and reincarnation) will continue to add a permanent +2 buff to all stats.
A failed hatch
Each Alpha Tamag has a 5% chance of failing to properly hatch, this will result in a tombstone animation, and will create a Ghost Tamag
These Ghost Tamags are unique, in that they will start life as a level 2 Alpha, which comes with boosted stats. Tamags that Hatch as Ghost Tamags will also receive a limited-edition Ghost NFT card. Only 10 of these will ever be issued.
