The team has given some serious thoughts about the roadmap and we can’t wait to deliver our vision to the community :)
Note that the following activities are subjected to changes along the way. Milestones are estimated for the first few (timelines change all the time!) and exact launch dates will be announced on the socials.

1. Incubator Release
Everyone is hyped for this!! The incubator will be the only place for TME to hatch into TAMAG.
Whole numbers of TME can be staked in the incubator, where it will be 24hours before it can hatch. At the end of 24hours after staking, TME can be hatched by sending a transaction. During this transaction, a random number will be rolled to decide if the egg successfully hatches (95% chance of success). The staked TME is burned regardless of whether the egg hatches successfully. Out comes your new baby: TAMAG
Each baby TAMAG will be unique, they will have different characteristics that may ultimately influence their path of evolution as they grow up.
2. Collab announcement
More to come! Repeatedly hinted in the tg, there will be collab(s) to enrich the whole NiFTygotchi ecosystem! Look out for rare, limited edition TAMAGs :)
3. Trading on opensea
TAMAGs will be ERC721/1155 tokens (TBC), and they can be traded on the NFT marketplace. So roll your sleeves up, take good care of your TAMAG and collect ’em all!
4. ❕😲😯Community Design Challenge🌟🤭❗
The team has received suggestions of characters to add to the ecosystem, and thought — why not let the community design their TAMAGs??
The team will hold a Community Design Challenge. The NiFTygotchi community will have a chance to design their own characters and put them up for a vote. The winners of the challenge will have their characters included in one of the stages of the TAMAG’s lifecycle! And they walk away with 🥚🥚🥚TMEs🥚🥚🥚!!!!
The website will provide a drawing interface for one to draw, ideate, experiment on designs before submission, and the community can vote for their favorite characters — let your creativity flow!!
5. TAMAG growth chart
As a tribute to the original game, the initial release will be based on tamagotchi V1 release in 1996. More characters will be added as the project progresses!
6. Nursery Release
The nursery will be the place you see your baby TAMAGs grow up to teen TAMAGs. When you stake TAMAGs into the nursery, you will have to feed, clean, play games with them to keep them happy and healthily fed. Throughout the day, TAMAGs will ask for attention, whine at you because they are hungry and/or bored. They may even get sick and you have to take care of them!
There will be a poll later regarding how these notifications should be delivered to our gotchi-tamers.
With some tender loving care, baby TAMAGs will evolve into teen TAMAGs and they are now ready for the ⭐⚡battle arena⚡⭐
7. Battle Arena Release
More details to be released. In the Battle Arena, teen/champion TAMAGs are pitted against each other. As TAMAGs gain experience, they evolve and become other TAMAGs within the champion series.
A few options right now, one option is to have a realtime trading card game, in which players select a set of TAMAGs to battle with, and a turn-based game will proceed. TAMAGs will come with battle moves that you can use to drain your opponents HP (healthpoints). EXP (experience points) build up over time as victories are achieved.
Another option (with enough time, effort, dev funds) will be to develop a game with a game engine and have TAMAG battles in 3D mode, dishing out moves with 3D effects. That would be amazing, right?
As TAMAGs gain enough experience, they will be able to further evolve to different TAMAGs in the champion series.
8. Retirement
There comes a time when your TAMAGs are exhausted from battling and just wanna take a chill pill. Champion TAMAGs will evolve into senior TAMAGs, and senior TAMAGs can be placed in retirement, where they are given TME periodically. More details to follow.
